1. About RoCandy and these Terms
RoCandy is a website marketplace where you can buy, sell and trade in-game items. The site currently lists Steal a Brainrot (SAB) brainrots, Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) items and Roblox Limiteds. Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) skins are planned but not yet available.
Items are handed over through trades with RoCandy's automated bot accounts inside the relevant game or platform.
In these Terms, "RoCandy", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of RoCandy. "You" means the person using the site. "Balance" or "Candies" means your RoCandy balance, described in section 6. "Items" means virtual in-game items.
You agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy when you open or use RoCandy, sign in, or tick the box at sign-in. If you do not agree, do not use RoCandy.
RoCandy is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. These Terms are written in English. If we show a translation of these Terms and it differs from the English text, the English text applies.
2. No affiliation with games or platforms
RoCandy is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox, Steam, the companies that run them, or the developers or publishers of any game whose items appear on the site.
Game names, item names, images and other trademarks belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the items being traded.
Each game and platform has its own terms and rules. Some of them may limit or forbid trading items for real-world value or outside the platform. You are responsible for reading and following the rules that apply to your game accounts.
You accept that a game or platform may, at any time and for its own reasons:
- suspend, restrict or ban your game or platform account;
- remove, reset or roll back items;
- place holds or limits on trades;
- change how trading works, or end it.
These actions are outside our control. We are not responsible for them, and we cannot restore game accounts or items affected by them. If such an action affects an item you sold to RoCandy, section 10 applies.
3. Who can use RoCandy
You must be at least 18 years old to use RoCandy, and you confirm this by ticking the box at sign-in. RoCandy is not for minors, even with a parent's or guardian's permission.
You must also:
- be legally able to enter into a binding contract where you live;
- be allowed, under the laws that apply to you, to use RoCandy, to buy, sell and trade in-game items, and to use cryptocurrency;
- not be located in, or resident in, a country or region under comprehensive sanctions, and not be named on a sanctions list or owned or controlled by someone who is;
- not be involved in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or other crime;
- not have been suspended or banned from RoCandy before, unless we have agreed in writing that you may return.
You are responsible for checking that your use of RoCandy is legal where you are, and for any taxes on your activity.
If we learn, or reasonably suspect, that a user is under 18 or otherwise not eligible, we may suspend or close the account. Any balance left on the account will be handled as the law requires.
4. Your account and signing in
You sign in to RoCandy with your Roblox account. The site shows Discord and Steam sign-in as coming soon, and they are not available yet.
To prove that the Roblox account is yours, we give you a one-time passphrase to paste into your Roblox profile description. We then check your public Roblox profile through Roblox's public API. We never ask for your Roblox password.
When you sign in, we set a signed, HttpOnly cookie in your browser. It keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. You can sign out at any time. If you use a shared or public device, sign out when you finish.
Your RoCandy account is linked to your Roblox account. You agree that:
- you will only sign in with a Roblox account that you own and control;
- you will have only one RoCandy account, unless we agree otherwise;
- you will not sell, share, lend or transfer your account, and you will not use anyone else's;
- you are responsible for everything done through your account.
Your account area includes your profile, inventory, transactions, seller dashboard, affiliates page and settings. Your settings (Steam trade URL, email address and email notification preferences) are currently stored only in your own browser. We cannot see them or restore them. You may lose them if you clear your browser data or switch to another device or browser, so check them before you rely on them.
If we need it for security, fraud prevention or legal reasons, we may ask you to confirm details about yourself or your Roblox account. We may limit your account until you do.
5. Account security, scams and impersonation
Your RoCandy account is only as secure as your Roblox account and your device. Protect them. Use a strong, unique Roblox password, turn on the security features Roblox offers such as 2-step verification, and keep your device free of malware.
RoCandy will never ask you for:
- your Roblox, Steam, Discord or email password;
- 2-step verification codes or login codes;
- your browser cookies, session tokens or account recovery details;
- items or crypto sent to a personal account, or anywhere other than the bot or deposit address shown for your transaction in your RoCandy account.
Scammers may create fake websites, bot accounts, giveaways or support profiles that copy RoCandy's name or look. Before you sign in or pay, check that you are on the genuine RoCandy website. Trade only with the bot shown for your transaction on the site. Get help only through the support channels listed on the site.
If you think someone has taken over your Roblox account or RoCandy session, sign out, secure your Roblox account and contact support straight away. We may pause activity on the account while we investigate.
We are not responsible for losses caused by phishing, fake sites, fake support or other social engineering, or by someone else getting into your Roblox account, device or browser, unless our own failure caused the loss. We cannot promise to recover items or balance lost this way.
6. Your balance (Candies)
Your balance is called Candies on the site. It is shown in US dollars (USD). It records value you can use to buy items on RoCandy.
Your balance is not a bank account, a bank deposit, e-money, a security or an investment. It earns no interest, and no deposit guarantee scheme protects it.
You can add to your balance in these ways:
- by crypto deposit through a third-party payment processor, once the site shows this option as live (see section 7);
- by selling items to RoCandy for balance, which adds a 2% bonus (see section 10).
The site also shows card payments through third-party providers and gift card redemption. Both are marked as coming soon and are not available yet. Any feature marked as coming soon is not part of the service until the site shows it as available. It may launch in a different form, or not at all.
Your balance can only be spent on RoCandy. You cannot pass it to another user, and you cannot cash it out or convert it into crypto, unless the site expressly offers a way to do so.
Balance can be credited to your account by mistake, for example through a technical error, a duplicate credit or an obvious pricing error. If that happens, we may correct it. If you have already used that balance, we may reverse the related transactions or deduct the amount from your balance.
We will not reduce or remove a balance because an account is inactive unless we have first announced such a rule, as described in section 20.
7. Crypto deposits
A third-party crypto payment processor handles crypto deposits. They are available once the site shows the option as live. We accept:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Solana (SOL)
- USDC on Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Arbitrum
- USDT on Ethereum, Tron, Solana, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon
You get a personal deposit address for each coin and network. The processor receives your payment and forwards it to RoCandy's wallets.
Before you pay, the site shows the minimum amount for that coin and an estimate of the fees. Check them carefully:
- The processor does not process payments below the minimum, so they cannot be credited to your balance.
- Send only the coin shown for the address, on the network shown. If you send a different coin, or the same coin on a different network, the funds may be lost for good.
- Blockchain transfers cannot be cancelled or reversed. We are not responsible for crypto sent to the wrong address, on the wrong network or below the minimum, and we may be unable to recover it.
Your balance is credited once the payment has the required network confirmations. You receive the USD value that actually arrives, after the processor's fee (currently 1%) and the network cost of forwarding the payment. Exchange rates shown before you pay are estimates and can change before the deposit is credited, so the amount credited may differ from the estimate.
Network congestion or problems at the processor can delay crediting. The transactions page of your account lists your crypto deposits and their status.
Only send crypto that you own, from a wallet you control. We may check deposits for signs of fraud, sanctions exposure or other unlawful activity. We may hold a deposit and ask where the funds came from. Where the law requires or allows it, we may refuse to credit a deposit.
8. How item trades work
All items move between you and RoCandy through trades with RoCandy's automated bot accounts inside the relevant game or platform:
- When you buy an item, a RoCandy bot trades it to you.
- When you sell or deposit an item, you trade it to a RoCandy bot.
Only trade with the bot shown for your transaction in your RoCandy account, and follow the instructions on the site. Items you send to any other account, including accounts made to look like RoCandy bots, do not reach RoCandy and cannot be credited.
Before you confirm a trade in the game, check the items, quantities and account names. Once a trade is completed inside the game or platform, it is final and cannot be undone, except as set out in these Terms or our Refund Policy.
An item counts as delivered to you once the trade from our bot is completed in the game or platform. An item counts as received by RoCandy only once the trade to our bot is completed and the item is in the bot's inventory. If it is unclear whether a trade was completed, we will look into it using the information available to us, including anything you send to support.
Games and platforms may set their own limits, such as trade holds, trade locks or account restrictions. These can delay or block a trade. When CS2 becomes available, you will need to set your Steam trade URL in your account settings, and Steam trade holds can delay CS2 deposits by several days.
Keep your game account able to trade, and complete the trade as instructed. If a trade fails because of a restriction on your game account, or because you did not complete it, section 9 or section 10 applies.
9. Buying items
Item prices are shown in USD. When you confirm a purchase, the price shown is the amount taken from your balance.
Stock can change quickly. An item may sell out, or its price may change, before you confirm. A purchase is accepted only once it is confirmed on the site.
After you buy an item, a RoCandy bot trades it to you, as described in section 8.
If a problem on our side stops us from delivering an item, we will try again or return the purchase price to your balance.
Delivery may fail because of something on your side, for example a restriction or ban on your game account, or because you did not accept or complete the trade. In that case, we may cancel the order and return the purchase price to your balance. We are not responsible for any price change in the meantime.
Pricing mistakes. If an item is listed at a price that is clearly wrong, for example because of a technical fault or a data error, we may cancel the order. If the item has already been delivered, we may ask you to trade it back. In either case, we return what you paid to your balance.
10. Selling items and payouts
You can sell eligible items to RoCandy. We show the offer for each item before you confirm. Market prices move, so an offer can change or expire before the trade to our bot is completed. We are not bound by an offer that has changed or expired.
You can choose how you are paid:
- in Candies, which adds a 2% bonus; or
- as a crypto payout in BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDC or USDT. Network fees apply to crypto payouts.
Sell payouts have a minimum of $15.00.
A sale is complete, and you are paid, only after a RoCandy bot has received the item, as described in section 8.
For crypto payouts, you must give a correct wallet address on the correct network. We are not responsible for crypto sent to an address or network that you gave us, and we may be unable to recover it. Exchange rates are estimates and can change before the payout is sent. Payouts can take time to process and may be held for a security review.
When you sell or deposit an item, you confirm that:
- you own the item and have the right to trade it;
- you got it legitimately, under the game's or platform's rules;
- it was not stolen or duplicated, not created through a bug or exploit, and not obtained through fraud, a scam or a reversed payment.
A game or platform may later remove, delete, revert or reclaim an item you sold to RoCandy, or reverse the trade, for example because the item was duplicated, stolen or obtained through an exploit. If that happens, you are responsible for the loss. We may deduct what we paid you from your balance, reverse related transactions, and suspend your account while we investigate. If your balance does not cover the amount, you must repay the rest.
11. Giveaways, quests and affiliates
RoCandy runs daily, weekly and monthly giveaways that use tickets. The details the site shows for each giveaway, such as the prize, when the draw takes place and how to earn tickets, form part of these Terms.
Giveaways are promotions. Do not enter a giveaway if the law that applies to you does not allow it. We may exclude users where taking part would be unlawful for them.
Daily quests are shown on the site, but they are marked as coming soon and are not available yet.
The affiliate program is coming soon. It may have its own terms when it launches.
Rewards, tickets and bonuses:
- have no cash value, and cannot be sold or transferred unless the site says otherwise;
- must not be earned through multiple accounts, scripts or bots, self-referral, collusion or any other abuse;
- may be cancelled, taken back or reversed if we find abuse, even after they have been credited.
We may change, pause or end any giveaway, quest or reward program. This does not affect prizes you have already won fairly.
12. Refunds, cancellations and chargebacks
Trades inside games cannot be undone once they go through. Because of this, a completed purchase, sale or trade is final, except where these Terms, our Refund Policy or the law provide otherwise. For example, section 9 explains what happens if we cannot deliver an item you bought, or if an item was listed at a clearly wrong price.
Crypto deposits cannot be reversed once sent (see section 7).
Card payments through third-party providers are coming soon and are not available yet. Once they are available, the following applies: if you dispute or reverse a payment with your bank, card issuer or payment provider after you have received balance or items for it, we may suspend your account, reverse or deduct the related balance and items, and recover the amount from you. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact support first.
Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you a right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a set period. If it does, then by confirming a transaction you ask us to start supplying the item or balance straight away, and you accept that, to the extent the law allows, you lose that right once supply has started.
13. Prohibited conduct
When you use RoCandy, you must not do, or try to do, any of the following:
- break the law, for example by laundering money, evading tax or getting around sanctions, or help anyone else do so;
- use money or crypto that comes from crime, or move funds on someone else's behalf;
- sell or trade items that you do not own, that you are not allowed to trade, or that were stolen, duplicated, exploited or obtained by fraud;
- give us information you know is untrue, pretend to be someone else, or use another person's Roblox account or wallet;
- create or use more than one account, or share an account, to get around limits, rules or bans, or to abuse giveaways, quests or bonuses;
- rig prices, or trade with yourself or with others to create fake activity;
- exploit bugs, pricing errors or security weaknesses instead of reporting them to us;
- use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated tools to access RoCandy, or to get around rate limits, security checks or access controls;
- hide your location or identity to get around eligibility rules or restrictions;
- attack, overload, probe, reverse-engineer or interfere with RoCandy, its bots or its systems, or introduce malware;
- scam, threaten, harass or abuse other users or our staff, or pretend to be RoCandy, its staff or its bots;
- reverse payments dishonestly, or falsely claim that a trade did not happen.
The same standards apply in the support channels listed on the site, where the platform's own rules also apply. We may moderate those channels, remove messages and remove users.
14. Checks, holds and account actions
To protect users, RoCandy and the platforms we rely on, and to meet our legal obligations, we may:
- ask you for information that confirms your identity, that you own a game account or wallet, or how you got the funds or items involved;
- screen deposits, wallets and transactions for fraud, sanctions and other risks;
- delay, hold, refuse, cancel or reverse a deposit, purchase, sale, payout or trade;
- set or change transaction limits;
- freeze your balance or items while we look into a concern;
- suspend or close your account;
- share information with law enforcement or regulators where the law requires or allows it.
Where we reasonably can, and where the law allows, we will tell you what we are doing and why. Sometimes we cannot give reasons, for example where the law forbids it, or where explaining would help someone get around our security.
If you break these Terms, we may keep back the amounts reasonably needed to cover losses that your breach caused us, other users or third parties. Any remaining balance will be handled as the law requires.
15. Availability and risks
RoCandy may not always be available. The site, our bots, deposits and payouts can be slow or unavailable at times, for example during maintenance, updates or security incidents.
RoCandy depends on services we do not control. These include the games and platforms that items come from, Roblox's public API, blockchain networks, our payment processor, and our hosting and network providers. If any of them fails, changes or restricts access, parts of RoCandy may stop working. You are responsible for your own device, browser and internet connection.
By using RoCandy, you accept these risks:
- Item values move with player demand and game updates, and an item can lose much of its value quickly. We may also stop buying or listing an item.
- Crypto prices can move sharply. Stablecoins such as USDC and USDT can lose their link to the US dollar. Blockchain networks can become congested, change their fees, split into separate chains (forks) or stop working.
- Hackers and scammers target crypto wallets and online marketplaces, and an attack could disrupt RoCandy.
- Games and platforms can change their rules, add trade restrictions, roll back items or ban accounts.
- Laws on virtual items, crypto and online marketplaces can change, and these changes may affect or end parts of RoCandy.
We do not have to credit or support tokens created by a fork, an airdrop or a similar event.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. Examples include outages or changes at games, platforms, blockchains, payment processors or hosting providers, cyberattacks, power or internet failures, natural disasters, war, and government action.
16. Intellectual property
The RoCandy name, logo, site design, text, graphics and software belong to us or our licensors. While you follow these Terms, you may use RoCandy to buy, sell and trade items for yourself. This permission belongs only to you and cannot be passed on, and we can withdraw it if you break these Terms. Unless we agree in writing, you may not copy, scrape, frame, resell or reuse any part of RoCandy.
Game names, items and images belong to their owners, as explained in section 2. These Terms give you no rights in them.
If you send us ideas, feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without paying you. If you post content in our support channels, you allow us to use it to run, support and improve RoCandy.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. In short:
- We process your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar image link. We keep them in the signed session cookie, and your wallet ledger is linked to your Roblox user ID.
- We keep records of your balance and your crypto deposits: coin, network, transaction ID, amounts, status and timestamps.
- Your settings and small preferences are stored in your own browser.
- We use your IP address briefly for rate limiting and security. We do not store it in a database.
- Some content, such as avatar images and web fonts, loads directly from third-party services.
- We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics. RoCandy does not handle payment card data itself.
Transactions on public blockchains are public and permanent. Anyone can see the addresses, amounts and times of your crypto transfers, and we cannot remove them.
18. Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity
RoCandy is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that:
- RoCandy will always be available, free of errors or safe from attacks;
- items will keep their value;
- any game or platform will allow, or keep allowing, trading of any item.
Keep your own records of important transactions, such as transaction IDs and screenshots of trades.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, income, opportunities, data or goodwill;
- losses caused by games, platforms, blockchains, payment processors or other third parties;
- losses caused by your own mistakes, such as sending crypto to the wrong address or network, trading with the wrong account, or sharing your login;
- losses caused by bans, restrictions, rollbacks or item removals by a game or platform;
- losses caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 15).
To the extent the law allows, if we are liable to you for a claim, the most we will pay is the value of the item, balance or transaction that the claim is about.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections that the law where you live gives you and that a contract cannot take away.
To the extent the law allows, if someone else makes a claim against us because you broke these Terms, broke the law or a game's or platform's rules, misused RoCandy or infringed their rights, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs this causes us, including legal fees.
19. Support, complaints and disputes
We provide support through the channels listed on the site, currently our Discord. We aim to reply as quickly as we can, but response times vary with demand.
If something goes wrong, contact support as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the harder it can be to check what happened, especially for in-game trades. Please include:
- your Roblox username;
- the date and time of the transaction;
- the item concerned, or the deposit details and blockchain transaction ID where relevant;
- a clear description of the problem, with screenshots if you have them.
We will investigate your complaint and tell you the outcome. If your complaint is about a refund, our Refund Policy also applies.
If you have a dispute with us, you agree to try to resolve it informally through support first. Most issues can be solved this way. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be taken to the courts or other bodies that have jurisdiction under applicable law. If you are a consumer, this includes any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Where the law allows, each claim against us must be brought separately by the person it concerns. Class actions and other group claims are not allowed.
RoCandy is not a party to deals you make with other people outside the site. Any deal or trade arranged outside RoCandy is at your own risk.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page.
Before an important change takes effect, we will announce it on the site where we reasonably can. Changes do not apply to transactions completed before they took effect.
An updated version applies to your use of RoCandy from the date it takes effect. If you do not accept it, stop using RoCandy and contact support about any remaining balance.
21. Ending your use of RoCandy
These Terms apply for as long as you use RoCandy.
You can stop using RoCandy and sign out at any time. If you want your account closed, contact support. Before you do, use your balance and finish any trades or payouts in progress. If your account still has a balance or open transactions when you ask us to close it, we will let you know before we close it.
We may suspend or close your account:
- immediately, if you seriously break these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or other unlawful activity, or if the law requires it;
- with reasonable notice, for any other reason, including if we decide to stop offering RoCandy or part of it.
If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will first give you a reasonable chance to use your balance and finish any open transactions.
Some sections continue to apply after your account ends because of what they cover. These include the sections on reversed items, prohibited conduct, liability, indemnity and disputes.
22. General terms
- Not advice: Prices, values and other information on RoCandy are for information only and are not recommendations. We do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- Whole agreement: These Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and any rules shown on the site for specific features are the whole agreement between you and us about RoCandy.
- Transfer: We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to someone who takes over running RoCandy, as long as this does not reduce your rights. You need our written agreement before you pass your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else.
- Separate parts: Each part of these Terms stands on its own. If a court or authority decides that one part cannot be enforced, the other parts are not affected.
- Delays: We can still rely on any part of these Terms later, even if we did not act on it straight away.
- Headings: Section titles do not affect how these Terms are read.
- Third parties: Only you and RoCandy can enforce these Terms.
- Notices: We may give you notices on the site or in your account area. You can give notices to us through the support channels listed on the site.
